A brand new marketplace for short educational courses in the tech sector. Knoma not only allows people to search for the best courses for them but also pay easily in monthly instalments.
Founder, Brett Shanley, tasked us with creating the brand from scratch. He wanted a brand that felt modern and fresh but that would also be trusted by potential customers. The brand would be applied predominately online, both to a website and in the future an app. In that way, it needed to be adaptable to a range of different formats.
We began with the name, ‘Knoma’, the knowledge market. The identity was focused initially on the concept of thought bubbles. Using these bubbles allowed us to experiment with different sizes as well as representing the growth of knowledge though their expansion. The brand espoused a sense of movement that was adapted to the Knoma website. We also produced a bespoke 1 minute animation to help Brett to launch the brand.
